cfdm is heavily lecturer-dependent - some semesters it runs well and students come out with solid results, other semesters the lectures are rushed and disconnected from what's actually tested. check who's teaching before you enrol

do not take this in summer if you can avoid it. the compressed timeline with an already content-heavy subject is a genuinely awful combination. doing it in a normal semester where you can attend quality tutorials makes it a completely different experience
